This couple was not ready to purchase a bedroom suite, but looking for serenity and uniqueness in their master bedroom. They were very pleased with the resulting tufted ceiling-height upholstered headboard in soft faux suede. Sheery drapes hiding a bland roller blind, and a tall metal candelabra added touches of romance and softness.
Teddy bear picnic was the inspiring theme for this once empty baby's room. Red gingham drapes were used on both the window and on the closet to replace closet doors. They coordinate nicely with colourful teddy-bear toile fabric on the valance and throw cushions. The real unique part of this room was the fun ceiling light fixture featuring 5 teddy bears sitting on a red gingham tablecloth around a picnic-basket light shade. An easy item to remove without affecting the rest of the room when the novelty wears off.
This master needed it all, from lighting to furniture to drapery to flooring. Wanting a calming and tasteful feel to their space, the quiet orange beige of the walls is complimented by soft blues in the bedding, upholstery and drapery fabrics. Classic full and crisp wall-to-wall pinch pleated drapes with room darkening liner can easily be released from the custom metal holdbacks for dreamy darkness without the need for blinds.
This couple loved their furniture, but wanted more personality for their neutral bedroom. We redesigned their furniture to a more contemporary distressed black with brushed nickel and combined it with vibrant accents. Highlighting the bed is a wood panel with a trellis pattern painted in clear gloss on matte black mirroring the upholstered headboard.
